A Pirate Dream Interpreted

Initiating Message:
So tell me more about dreams and what you do... very curious. I had a dream 2 nights ago that pirates came in my house and I had to watch as they sawed off my left hand at the wrist. Then they game me a piece of pizza for my troubles. Probably not the same kind of thing... so tell me what happens. I'm curious, as ever.


My response:
I want you to know that the Holy Spirit has been teaching me about dreams since 1993 on a regular basis, and has shown me dreams since I was a young boy.

The only way to interpret a dream is through prayer. As Daniel and Joseph proclaimed, "Interpretation belongs to God."

I prayed about your dream. Usually, a violent dream like this is a fake dream, sent by the enemy to instill fear. However, this dream is sent from the Kingdom of God. Here is the interpretation from the Holy Spirit:

They are sawing off your left hand: they are pushing you to remove "sin" (left hand symbol) by force. Rightly, sin is overcome by love- by walking in the spirit. "If you love me, you will obey my commands." Out of love, we naturally obey the commands of Jesus. It should be natural.

Pizza: We should eat the bread of life. Pizza is man-made, with lots of toppings. This represents the "Word" they are feeding you.

Pirates: They are represented as pirates because pirates are after plunder, not after souls.

That probably confirms some suspicions you have.

His Reply:
Hey, thanks a bunch for taking the time for this. I didn't expect you to actually look into my dream, but thanks. I can't wait to be in heaven with my God!

Follow-up:
In another forum, I posted this. A friend who also interprets dreams reported that he has seen this dream symbol often: a pirate representing a crooked teacher serving in a church. His real goal is the booty.

War Coming to America

Last night, praying, I asked to be a voice for the people. I also prayed again about more information related to the China-Japan event that would signal the time to leave America. This is the series of dreams I had. This is a chain dream from my post titled "Types of Dreams".

March 18, 2011
Wake about 9:45

A military officer receives a message- there is a call for him. He hurries to a dark room full of men and equipment. He picks up the phone. A voice on the other end says, “This is an unsecure line. We should go secure.” The officer agrees.

He uses an odd device. It has 4 small keypads arranged in a square, suspended on two vertical black rods. Each keypad has two rows. Some of the keys are not black. One is green, another is orange or red. The officer uses these keypads very adeptly.

The message: “You know that scenario you’re always talking about? We just spotted it heading this way.”

The military officer runs down a crowded hall. He is a high ranking officer. Here, however, there are many who outrank him. I see he has gold jump wings above the left breast pocket of a short-sleeve, khaki blouse. This means he is a United States Marine Corps officer.

Next Scene: Massive Deployment

Suddenly, troops everywhere are activated. There is a massive deployment. Everyone is activated, even ROTC troops.

Next Scene: TV Commercial Condemns Passive Attitude

A commercial shows men reporting for duty. A voice-over says something like, “Some of these men will be underequipped. Men from ____ will have to use sub-standard rifles. ROTC cadets will have to use the weapons they trained with, which fire only BBs!” Every person associated with the military is reporting for service.

There is a massive airborne deployment of armored vehicles and other types of equipment. The armor is all painted in desert camouflage. This results in a major defeat.

Next Scene: Young men from a training facility are gathering to report for battle. As they hurry, there is concern they will be attacked where they are. They form up at first in a grassy area where they are in the open. Later, they form up inside a white metal building. One young man is thinking about how the walls offer no protection. He has heard about an air-detonated frag bomb that spews shrapnel and causes many casualties.

Next scene: Soldiers are sitting on grass. They are not in uniform, but are reporting to a formation. A senior NCO is telling them to hand over their cash. “It is no longer yours. We need it. Give all your money forward. All of it. You will not need it.” One young man opens his wallet, saying, “I am giving some, and keeping some for myself. I may need it.” A female on his left tells him he should give it all. A male on his right says, “I can see how fat your wallet is. You have something in there.” The wallet owner opens it. It is thick with folded receipts and some cash. He pulls out some tens, then some ones, a five, and another one. He also pulls money from a second location in his wallet.

Note After praying, I understood he pulled first $38, then $15 from his wallet. This represents a scripture:

Job 38:15 “And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.”

Ezekiel 38:15 “And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:”

Jer 38:15 “Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare [it] unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to death? and if I give thee counsel, wilt thou not hearken unto me?”

Spiritual Interpretation of This Dream:

After posting this, I received an interpretation from YouTube's AStoneofLight. It is good, and I post it here, with permission of the author:

I will respond with a quick note, and will give you scripture to look up as you have time. I am not saying this is the only interpretation, but it was impressed upon me as I listened to your presentation.

1. This is as much a spiritual dream as a natural one. The Marine with all the decorations, who had worried and warned about the specific scenario is representative of the true church. God has given his prophets and true ministers insight into that thing coming upon this nation. (by Revelation and prophecy, Amos 3:7)

2. The message and warning is being carried by this one man thru many who are of greater positions than himself. (Much like the church world today, these people had no idea about what was happening, because they no longer hear from God, but concern themselves with wealth and position.) 2Tim 3:5 Rev 3:17

3. The cadets and young people represent those with a great concern for souls, who love God, but lack in knowledge. Those in the white building, much like the young christians are unaware of the protective power of the spirit of God represented by the white building (Pslam 91 among others). They do not understand yet the power of the helmet of salvation and how that the attacks from the air (decimating air-bursts) are attacks on the mind by satan.

4. The big battle is the battle being waged by the Laodicean church, which has been a failure, due to their uncaring, lukewarm version of Christianity. (I hope I am explaining this correctly) The church itself has become so unconcerned and comfortable about winning souls it is for all intensive purposes failing, and nothing like what it was intended to be.

5. The airlift is that part of the church, which still believes in the living God, that is either awake or is being awakened to the lateness of the hour, being mobilized and going to war with darkness for the lost souls, inside and outside the Laodecian Church.

6. The beggars of money are the dead, greedy ministers who will continue to fleece the congregations to the very last, and will be lost.

Isaiah 14:13 alludes to satan presiding and having a kinship to the sides of the north, and when it was undertaken to overthrow God, this direction is the one to which he levitated, because he had allies there. Which brings me to the conclusion that once again he will make his attack from that area.

I know this is a quick response and ask you to forgive me, but I felt a need to get this to you. Many times prophetic dreams can have multiple meanings and warnings as you well know. Probably better than I understand myself, as you are a much greater scholar than I. However, I ask you to consider what has been written here, and use it accordingly. If nothing else, encourage yourself with it in the fact that you know your closeness to the Lord.

Praying for Answers to Come in Dreams

Last night, March 17, 2011, as I fell asleep, I prayed for more information related to the events at Fukushima Nuclear Reactor in northeast Japan. On March 11th, an 8.9 earthquake struck the ocean floor and rocked the main island of Japan. A subsequent tsunami destroyed harbors and entire sections of towns.

Because of the vision shown to me by the Holy Spirit of a major event involving Japan, a few people sent me emails requesting more information. So, I prayed and asked to receive more detail about that event.

Honshu Earthquake not a Fulfillment of the Japan, China & North Korea Vision

Here is why the events of March 11th are not the events of the vision I received which warn of when to leave America. There are two reasons. First, if this were the fulfillment of that vision, I would feel it. Some of the events of the Honshu quake would fulfill the components of the vision I received. There would be additional details in the actual event. The second reason is that, prior to a dream being fulfilled, it automatically returns to the mind. That did not happen prior to this event.

When the fulfillment of “When Japan folds to China, that is your sign (to leave America)” comes, I will recall that dream at least a few times. For a dream of this magnitude, I will likely see it on my mind’s mental landscape, or remember it, several times. This is how it will happen to all of us. When you have a dream, you will recall it before it manifests.

Why do Dreams Contain Less than Full & Complete Information?

Not all details of a global event are contained in one dream. Nor does the Holy Spirit reveal all to just one person. That leads to person glory, not God’s glory. As I was once told in prayer, God reveals something to everyone, to no one everything, and everything to someone. This forces people to work together, to strengthen each other, and to trust one another. This develops unity. And, as mentioned above, no one person is lifted up. Instead, God is lifted up. That is how God wants it.

March 16, 2011 Dreams:

The first night praying about the attack on Japan which will signal the need to depart America, I dreamed this:

In San Francisco, I went for a walk. I walked around a corner. There were several empty store fronts there. New commercial spaces were empty. One shop was open, a restaurant. For sale there was a hot dog. The bun and sausage were large. The hot dog itself may have weighed nearly a pound. It cost $8 for this hot dog.

I ordered and sat at a long elevated table. I shared this table with some younger people. We talked and laughed. Another group of young entrepreneurs joined us. They invited me to see one of their new locations. These young friends had four or five new late-night hang-outs open.

The bar was chique, but casual. Everything had sharp lines. The inside was very open. We sat on the floor and talked and laughed and had a drink.

Interpretation of March 16th dreams: The economy will continue to slow. But, people will not change (youth looking for success and working hard, but in the wrong direction.) Food prices will increase. Businesses will continue to close their doors. This will not be immediately obvious (I had to walk around a corner, off the main streets, to see the closed shops.)

March 17th Dreams:

1. Two words: “cold fusion”.

2. I see a door in my apartment. It opens. I see lots of cereal boxes stocked there. At the bottom, I see a brown box. Inside this box, I understand (without words or visual indication) that the moths I have been looking for are in this box. Wake.

Interpretation of March 17th dreams: I prayed about two topics before sleeping. First, I asked to know what will come of recent events in Japan. Second, I prayed to know the origin of the moths which have been appearing the last few weeks.

Update, Jan. 17, 2013: I forgot to add: the moth worms were exactly where the dream showed. However, I also later found another batch in a potato cupboard. So, a dream may be accurate, and still be incomplete! 

Dreams are like Gear

I prayed about a dream topic for my Dream Lessons series on You Tube. I heard, “Dreams are Gear.” Of course, I asked, “How are dreams like gear?”

You have to use the right piece of gear when working on a job. Some tools cut plastic. Others cut steel. It is the same for a dream. Dreams contain knowledge and information. A dream for yesterday is not a dream for today.

Some gear is specialized, used rarely, and is on reserve for when it is needed.

Gear is bought with a price. One piece of gear is bought in place of another.

The gear is always there, for the taking. People are lazy, not committed.

I asked, “What percent of dreams have I missed?” I heard, “Nearly one hundred percent.”

So, dreams are always available for us. They are gear for us to utilize in our daily lives. They are available. The reason people do not have them is because they are lazy and are not committed to acquiring knowledge. Each dream sent to us was delivered in place of all other options; one dream is bought in place of another.

Gear makes impossible actions possible. The right gear makes possible actions and life events easy. Recognizing, recalling, and recording dreams can make life easier, more efficient and more productive. Investing time in dream recall and praying for understanding are worthwhile activities.

Lucid Dreaming- Does it Have Any Value?

Lucid Dreaming

The objective of the lucid dreaming is to "wake up" inside a dream. Waking up refers to bringing one's waking conscious mind into the dream state. The lucid dreamer desires to control where he goes, what he says, and what he does, and to remember the adventure.

Dreaming, as I have learned to value it, is about watching what your spirit does in dreams. What is it shown, where does it go? Who shows these things to our spirits? What motivates them?

The information gathered by our spirits far outweighs the playtime of the conscious mind. Lucid dreaming is for children and the reckless. I have lucid dreamed. It violates the natural order of the relationship between ourselves and the spirit. Our spirits understand perfectly things our conscious mind could not conceive. Recalling the lessons of our spirits, what is shown to us by angels during our nightly experiences in the spirit exceeds any playtime events of lucid dreaming.

Lucid dreaming falls below no-value. Lucid dreaming costs the dreamer what he could have learned from the spirit, what angels desired to show her and teach her in the spirit.

In the late 90’s, I lived in Philadelphia. One night, I dreamed I was working with two young ladies I knew. These ladies were not romantic interests. However, at that time, I was interested in following through with almost every dream I received. I wanted to see what would happen. I considered myself, in part, to be a psychological explorer. I wanted to experiment and gain raw data. More than this, I fully expected that something interesting would result if I pursued actions in waking life which I first saw myself do in dreams.

Both of these young women, Megan and Juliet, worked at the same place: The White Dog Café located at 3420 Sansom Street in University City. This is just a few blocks north from the main campus of the University of Pennsylvania, and one block west of Drexel University. I applied with the manager and was told something like, “Everyone wants to work here. The waiting list is three months long.” However, I knew the Holy Spirit would make an opening for me. I fully expected that one day the Holy Spirit would lead me there, and I would be hired immediately.

The day arrived several weeks later. I rode my mountain bike the 16 blocks to the White Dog. I walked in and met the maitre d’. He was very happy to see me. “We just had someone quit. Can you start today?” I said yes. Later that same night, I returned and began to work as a waiter at the White Dog. Waiting tables in this café taught me a lot. First, I learned that waiting tables is hard, dynamic work. A waiter must be excellent and skilled in psychology, etiquette, memorization skills, food, beers, wines, alcohol, and group communication.

I also learned one more very interesting thing. I learned about Madam Blavatsky. Blavatsky claimed to have traveled to India. There, she met some people who led her to secret underground facilities. She acquired there knowledge from ancient texts. These were thousands of years old and had been protected from world wide calamities in these caves. She once fell ill. Some sickness entered her leg and it looked as though she would not recover. However, she was told that laying a white dog on the leg, and leaving him there for some time, would heal the leg. She followed the prescription, and was healed the same day. This is how the “White Dog” café received it’s name. At the time, I appreciated the working knowledge, but set the Blavatsky information aside as a curio.

Today, I can tell you that Blavatsky spoke into the world the plans of Satan. The underground tunnels she visited are the outer tendrils of the catacombs of Hell.

In the first articles on dreaming I have written, I address the topic of deceptions from the enemy. The enemy will work to deceive you. The enemy will work to warp what you do. As soon as you receive a dream, the enemy will effort to append that dream- thereby warping and distorting it. We must be aware of the works of the enemy.

Many who visit this website are very experienced in dream recall and have labored to understand many dreams. These readers know that dreams are far more than random neural activity. They know that dreams supernaturally contain information about unknown events and about future events. You all have seen one, several, or hundreds of dreams come to pass. You have rejected the main stream “science” teaching which degrades a powerful tool for man into a randomly generated, insignificant, mental collage. However, of these, few have also rejected the false geography taught in books about the other side of the veil.

We cross a veil each night. On the other side, there are “the heavens”. In these heavens, living persons exist. These are angels of the Kingdom of Heaven, and fallen angels. The angels live in Heaven, a place “high above” where we live on earth. In between Heaven and here, are other layers. In those layers reside fallen angels, called demons or devils. These devils work against you in every way permitted, and sometimes in ways they are not permitted. They work to falsify dreams- as soon as you receive them. They author and choreograph dreams themselves; they will send an entirely false dream. They will work against your life by manipulating other events.

In the case of the White Dog, Juliet and Megan both quit working at the White Dog. Instead, they were hired by my business partner to work in my own shop in West Philadelphia. This was the devil’s work. A devil put the idea into his head. He hired them without any mention to me. I did nothing to bring this about.

In this case, the action was inspired by God, and I was fine. I received the knowledge the Holy Spirit wanted me to gain- Blavatsky, tunnels of hell, satanic teachings entering the world, and the real information war between truth and darkness.

Be wary of messages in dreams. Not all of them are sent from those who love you and freely give with pure intent. Some deceive and their way leads down to the grave.
